Just finished excellent breakfast, great quality ingredients perfectly cooked. Had salomon and eggs, avacado and poached eggs and small cooked breakfast. Great coffee too.
We popped in for a cuppa after a walk into the village. Tea, coffee, crumpets and tea cake were spot on, as was the service from the lovely staff. Will def go back and would recommend. PS We didn't partake but the cakes looked amazing.
We had lovely jacket potatoes and felt very welcome. Will definitely be back
Lovely little tea room. Inside is so much nicer than It looks from the outside. Great service, lovely coffee and the choc fudge cake was amazing. Good price as well for what we got. Will deffo be going again
I wasn’t sure what to expect when my friend brought me in to Rose’s this afternoon. I assumed by the name it would be a run-of-the-mill cafe that serves tea and cakes. It turned out to be so much more. I had the leek and potato soup and toasted cheddar chutney sandwich —both absolutely delicious. My friend had the beef pie that was as good as any I’ve ever tasted. The food is simple and straight forward with impressive technique. Every detail was spot-on. Impeccable. The service was friendly and efficient and relaxed. I was thoroughly impressed with everything about this place.

Afternoon tea here today was fabulous! Lovely finger sandwiches, prawn, salmon, egg and ham - you could even ask for more! Beautiful cakes and of course the scones jam and cream. A lovely full glass of prosecco for just 4.95 was excellent value and the service was perfect. Thoroughly recommended.
We visited The Rose Tea room on Saturday 11th February. The decor is beautiful and just as a tea room should be.The atmosphere was lovely along with the service. We had afternoon tea for 5 the cakes and sandwiches were all lovely. My little boy who is 13 months even had his own little plate of sandwiches. Upon hearing that this was a treat for my birthday the owner kindly gave me a glass of prosecco on the house which was very kind. I would definitely recommend a visit to this tea room.
